In 2012 I created a new yoga class and placed it on the schedule at Prasada Yoga Center, North Hampton, NH.  It was called Yoga for Women with Cancer and seven beautiful ladies showed up for the first class.  Since then, this class has grown into a Program with eight instructors in seven locations around the seacoast and Southern Maine.  Now called Yoga and Cancer, this program is a wonderful community of teachers and yogis.  Our hope is to expand the program even further so that more survivors can benefit from the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

This website allows us to extend our wonderful community. The purpose of the website is to educate patients and survivors in learning about the therapeutic benefits of yoga and its ability to heal by gently stretching, building strength, and deeply relaxing in a supportive environment. The specific movements, postures and breathing techniques we teach in Yoga and Cancer classes help you achieve relaxation and mobility in everyday life.

Welcome to the Yoga and Cancer website.  For more information about the benefits of yoga for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers, go to the Resources page or contact Michelle.
